Foxconn-initiated MIH Consortium's ElectriCity Shines at CES 2024: Driving the Charge Toward Smart Mobility

TAIPEI, November 30 – The Foxconn-initiated MIH Consortium will be showcasing at CES 2024, the world’s most influential technology event. Highlighting its presence, MIH will introduce its People Mover and Goods Mover solutions. The Consortium is collaborating with an impressive lineup of co-exhibitors: automotive software giant BlackBerry Limited with its BlackBerry® QNX® and BlackBerry IVY® technologies, trailblazing commercial electric vehicle (EV) startup B–ON, mobility-centric cybersecurity startup C2A Security, display technology leader GISand Tata Technologies, a leading global product engineering and digital services company. This joint effort is bringing forth innovative solutions for smart cities, including EVs, AI-based fleet management, smart vehicle technology, and cybersecurity, all woven together in a cohesive and synergistic ecosystem.

Highlights of the MIH Consortium at CES 2024 include:

MIH Project X Concept Car: Born for urban shared mobility services, this concept car offers adaptable seating for two or three passengers. Its innovative design includes both a fixed and a swappable battery system, offering an ingenious solution to alleviate users' concerns about driving range.

MIH Fleet Management Platform: Utilizes data analytics and AI technology to optimize route planning, along with driver behavior detection, energy management, and vehicle maintenance, assisting logistics operators in enhancing operational efficiency and achieving carbon reduction goals.

B–ON: A leading provider of fleet electrification solutions, will showcase its all-electric Pelkan commercial vehicle and equipped smart package dispenser technology, designed to reduce the time required to sort and deliver packages and improve customer productivity at both the overall fleet and individual levels.

C2A Security: A Gold winner of the European Prize for Mobility, the only mobility centric DevSecOps Platform vendor that addresses the specific needs of car makers, Tier 1 suppliers, and mobility companies. C2A Security will showcase demos of its industry-first Generative AI layer, which facilitates compliance, shortens software release times and decreases costs. In addition, on January 10 at 1pm, C2A Security will hold a panel on Generative AI in Mobility, featuring industry executives.

GIS AR HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display): The product offered by GIS delivers clear images and instant driving information combining both real and virtual contents powered by AI technology. To meet the needs of various vehicle models and windshield sizes, GIS supports customers with tailored design services on wide field of views and long virtual image distances for enhanced driving safety. GIS will also present other products for smart vehicles, including multi-screen lamination services, anti-reflection coating technology, and hidden touch displays that allow an integrated and aesthetic interior design.

Tata Technologies: Tata Technologies with its end-to-end solutions across the automotive value chain is helping customers realize their software-defined vehicles dream. It is integrating next-gen technologies with full vehicle systems to deliver elevated customer experiences and new revenue streams for clients.
